Merrow is looking to hire a Sales Representative/Merchandiser for the Knit Division. As the Sales Representative/Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maximizing sales of our Merrow Knits brand. This role works closely with marketing, ecommerce, and operations teams to increase sales opportunities in our retail store, online and contract production. If you have excellent organizational, communication and time management skills and can learn quickly how to navigate internal teams to achieve goals, this position is for you.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Grow sales volume through retail store, online and contract production

· Retail store operation

· Inventory replenishment

· Develop and execute strategies to accomplish sales and marketing efforts

· Report sales performance

· Work with production to ensure sufficient inventory to support demand

· Communicate plans and manage merchandising to build back stock for upcoming initiatives

· Coordinate and manage successful delivery of consumer and wholesale orders

· Manage and track all samples to meet deadlines; review product with cross functional teams to ensure all details are correct

· Maintain accurate and up to date information for seasonal assortment line sheets

· Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· 3+ years of previous sales/merchandising experience

· Salesforce experience is preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Self-motivated, proactive and has a high sense of urgency

· Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Curious and willing to learn, adaptable in a changing environment

· Highly organized with great follow through abilities

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Interact regularly and follow up with internal and external parties based on direction of management, presents information for decision making to manager, and requires ability to independently manage their own daily tasks and projects as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position may supervise employees.
