JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for helping to drive occupancy and top line revenue for ASPIRE LIFESTYLE LIVING by maintaining and exceeding targeted occupancy, and per unit revenue targets.
Essential Job Functions
- Efficiently utilizes marketing & sales tools, Customer Relationship Management (CMR) Software, etc., to perform job duties, track information, compile data and reports, and achieve community occupancy goals.
- Overseeing the marketing efforts, direct sales, lead generation and the overall sales performance of the Marketing team.
- Assists the Move in Coordinator and any other team members who can be helpful with marketing.
- Closes sales by being kind, honest and helpful to prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors in the decision-making process.
- Helps prospects by understanding their needs and educating them about how our excellent services and programs can meet or exceed their needs.
- Partners with the Executive Director, Managers and entire team to develop and execute marketing plans and achieve occupancy goals.
- Researches and provides recommendations for content of the website, blog, as well as creation and delivery of marketing and sales materials (e.g. brochures, flyers, press releases, etc.).
- Creates and lead various marketing events that promote our community and services.
- Sets goals for referral programs and performs outside Business Development efforts.
- Maintains a strong knowledge of competitors, services provided, rates and an updated competitive analysis.
Job Requirements:
- Marketing degree; prefer Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or proven track record helping with senior living).
- Prefer previous sales and external marketing experience, preferably in Senior Living Communities, Retirement Industry, Medical or Pharmaceutical Sales with a track record of generating and closing a high percentage of qualified leads.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Ability to make judgment calls quickly and appropriately.
- Ability to maintain a positive and patient demeanor with families and prospective residents.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays, when needed, sharing the Duty Manager responsibilities, if needed.
- Valid Driver’s License, and a personal vehicle for local travel to promote Aspire Lifestyle Living.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, squat, kneel, push and pull, lift/carry up to 20 pounds.
- Meet all health requirements including negative TB test.
- Must pass background check and random drug tests.

Salary Range Information: $42,000.00 - $58,000.00 / year depending on experience and track record, plus Bonuses (up to 20%) and Health Plan and Benefits packages available.
