Day in the Life of an Associate, Business Development

• Arrive at the office ready to go - full of passion and positive energy!
• Participate in daily huddle meetings to make sure everyone is on the same page
• Make a high volume of outbound calls to generate leads

Responsibilities of an Associate, Business Development

• Meet minimum daily numbers for calls (100+) and quoting (6+ first 3 months)
• Search for opportunity to attract customers by educating them on ways to save money, coverage options, product features, and services available
• Be a team player – help creatively find solutions to solve problems
• Treat every customer like they are family

What are the first few weeks like?

• Every is provided online study materials when they arrive on day 1. The first few weeks will balance studying for your Property & Casualty License, answer and pass incoming/outgoing calls to the licensed team, and learning about Allstate products
• Your first goal is to ask a LOT of questions and be ready to pass the P&C insurance exam within two weeks of joining the agency. It typically requires about 40 hours of study time which will include nights and weekends in the first two weeks

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
