Hilco Vision is searching for an experience Sales Support Manager to join the team! The Sales Support Manager will work cross-functionally to define, develop, and execute enhancements that drive service improvements for our customers. He/she will lead a team of Sales Support Specialists across multiple locations. He/she will serve as a player/coach and mentor for their staff. Duties will include analytical, administrative, and tactical sales support with particular emphasis on pricing, products, promotions, ensuring data integrity, data cleansing, proactive and reactive troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will not only possess the skills, knowledge, competencies, and character to perform this role at a high level, but also assumes this role as a path to direct sales management. This position will report to the Director of Sales Strategy and Planning but will support multiple Hilco Vision account managers within the global sales team.

A Little Bit About You:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree, or 5-7 years of experience supporting customers, sales, marketing or other related functions.
- Experience in managing and empowering a team with or without direct reporting structure
- With a high level of proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel), you’re able to expertly navigate each individual program with ease.
- You’re a true quadruple threat and have excellent time management, organizational, presentation and communication skills – basically, you’re an all-around asset to the team
- You understand the value or forging cross-functional partnerships both internally and externally

- You are a problem solver. You contribute ideas and solutions to the company and customers
- Even with fifty different tasks on your plate at once, you are poised and professional, and can manage each item efficiently and effectively
- You might have experience in the optical, ophthalmic, and or medical industry

The Nitty Gritty:
- Build / Maintain strong relationships with internal account managers, planners and buyers as well as external buyers and replenishment managers
- Work closely with Shipping, Traffic, and Customer Service Department
- Analyze and report against necessary KPI (In stock, MABD)
- Analyze and solve replenishment problems / opportunities that arise
- Generate item-level and account-level forecasts for Key Accounts
- Perform monthly forecast review to identify forecast exceptions and other issues.
- Perform monthly analysis of warehouse inventory, store inventory, and production inventory with S & OP team
- Provide key performance reports and ad hoc analysis as necessary (POS reports, inventory reports, ladder plans, order recommendations, etc.).
- Develop and analyze related reports on a weekly basis to include, Vendor Performance Scorecard, New Item Tracking Report, Promotion Sell through reports, Item Information, In Stock and Out of Stock reports, Inventories, POS and other related reports.
- Review forecast accuracy reports, determine key drivers of forecast errors, and develop process improvements to reduce overall errors.
- Communicate with key account contacts to ensure short and long-range forecasting is in alignment.
- Support sales/ account manager(s) in the areas of account requests, program administration, project management.
- Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly sales performance trackers to budget, sales forecasts, and internal KPI’s
- Create and/or deploy trade marketing material to support sales managers; sell sheets, catalogs, POP materials etc.
- Collaborate with cross functional team members to address and communicate price lists, price changes, backorder recovery, and other sales operations issues to sales managers and customers
- Set up new accounts, new locations, and new item forms
- Work with sales managers, customer service and finance to assist/validate revenue management issues such as chargebacks, returns, and pricing discrepancies
- Maintain Hilco Vision databases and applicable customer specific portals to ensure both have accurate and current data
- Assist with the development of sales presentations for internal and customer meetings
- Manages special projects as necessary to support departmental initiatives
- Participate in internal sales meetings and customer meetings as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- This role requires the ability so sit at a desk or computer station for long periods of time
- This role requires that ability to spend long periods of time looking at computer screens and making repetitive motions
