Full description of the position

Atlantic Lawn and Garden is looking for a landscape construction estimator to add to our team.

-Meet with clients to review project inquiries (guidelines, budget, timeline, etc.) and make knowledgeable recommendations based on site conditions.

-Create project estimates (or proposals) for landscape design, construction and maintenance work using prior landscaping experience to include accurate labor and various resource pricing.

-Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

General Job Requirements:
-Excellent customer service skills

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Experienced tradesman with a broad-based working knowledge of various landscaping, hardscaping and tree care practices

-Working knowledge of various plant materials and horticultural practices

-Ability and previous experience reading and understanding of landscape, structural and architectural plans

-Focus on accuracy, prompt follow up, and deadlines fulfillment

-Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications, standards and contracted requirements

-Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team

-Strong problem solving and organizational skills, good time management

-Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

-Proficient internet and computer navigation skills

-Must be able to lift 50 pounds

-Spanish speaking skills a plus

Job Type: Full Time, Typical work week is Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Salary: Competitive wages, depending on experiences

Required Skills:
· 2+ years’ of landscaping/hardscaping experience; 1+ year experience with estimating

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Desired Skills:
· 5+ years’ experience
· CDL Driver’s License
· Other various licenses pertaining to the landscaping industry including: DOT Health Certification, OSHA 10, Commercial Application, Hoisting, Arborist, etc.
