Business Development Specialist Job Description

Position: Bilingual Business Development Specialist/Community Outreach Coordinator

Industry: Health Care, Senior Care

Responsibilities:

· This position is responsible for business performance for Silvercare Adult Daycare Center.

· Plan and participate in outreach activities in local communities including but not limited to senior apartments, churches, grocery markets, pharmacies, etc.

· Follow up with potential clients (leads) from multiple channels and convert leads into Silvercare Adult Daycare clients.

· Assist seniors in applying for long-term care programs if necessary, including but not limited to introducing program information and following up with client needs.

· Identify opportunities for business growth and establish effective networks to acquire senior daycare clients.

· Discover effective marketing and promotional channels to deliver messages, including media platforms and in-person events.

· Interface and develop professional relationships with customers, local businesses, and non-profit organizations.

· Create innovative marketing campaigns and present the recommendations to the management team.

· Other duties assigned.

Qualification:

· Associate degree or equivalent experience is highly preferred.

· Senior-care related working experience requested, including but not limited to Senior daycare, homecare, social work, community services, or senior apartment coordinator working experience.

· MUST have an active Driver’s License and reliable vehicle/transportation.

· Be willing to actively visit local businesses and local nonprofits and attend community activities for company business development.

· This position is responsible for community outreach for the Chester City area.

· Must be able to use a computer and Microsoft Office.

· Be willing to work out of regular business hours, such as evenings and weekends.

· Must be able to lift 30lbs boxes.
