Full description of the position

Responsible for development of industry-wide new business opportunities and products as well as to expand existing markets and established products within Wardwell’s market area. Performs a wide variety of functions to ensure our customers satisfaction, active in new product and market sales, stimulate continuing interest of present an potential customers, and enhance Wardwell’s reputation for producing dependable and high quality products.

Answers correspondence pertaining to capabilities and limitations of Company products. Reviews all order documents, comparing the Wardwell order documents with the customer purchase order to assure that commercial standards and technical details are correct. Differences are resolved with the customer before further processing continues. Works directly with customers assisting with technical evaluation of machines and processes. Interfaces with Engineering personnel for new specifications, machine applications, requirements, etc. Works with Production Control and Materials Management personnel as required to schedule / coordinate the shipment of Wardwell machines. Assists the Financial Department in collecting overdue accounts. Assists Wardwell’s customers in solving technical problems related to Company product applications. Maintains an accurate record of machine orders received and shipped.

Attends and participates in Company / industry seminars, trade shows, and / or exhibitions as required to identify new markets / expanded opportunities for Wardwell current or potential products. Prepares and executes a travel plan which ensures that all applicable North American markets for Wardwell products are effectively covered. This position is responsible for assisting in the planning and coordination of trade show activities, to include assessing / reporting on the effectiveness of each trade show.

Within skill capabilities, performs a wide variety of related duties, and complies with all Company rules and regulations.

One to two years of manufacturing experience.

Travel is required of this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
