We are hiring a Director of Sales at our Renaissance, Raleigh, North Hills. Our whimsical design ushers the inside/out and work/play concept into one beautifully chic, highly functional, truly Raleigh experience which mirrors its ideal location centered within Midtown and the bustling North Hills neighborhood. Our unique hotel has been completely transformed, including modernized guest rooms and suites, a total lobby transformation, rebranded restaurant, and renovated events space. Step outside of the hotel and you will be fully immersed in the Triangle area’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination.
The ideal candidate is a service-oriented, motivated, passionate, and collaborative individual who has a deep understanding of how to develop strong relationships with customers, how to effectively prospect, and how to positively and creatively lead a team. The Director of Sales will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Effectively lead department in providing the highest quality of service to customer at all times.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
- Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
- Guide sales and marketing efforts as well as advertising tasks, public relations and administrative reporting.
- Define and implement sales and marketing activities according to the Marketing Plan.
- Prioritize, document, and organize work to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Prior Director of Sales Experience (3+ years) required.
- Strong market knowledge.
- Hotel Leadership Experience (5+ years) required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to assess financial and competitive data to make informed decisions
- Successful history of leading & motivating sales team members & coaching team members toward success.
- Good team player.

Salary Pay Range: $93,282.68 - $116,603.35
