Sales Engineer

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking multiple Sales Engineers with varying levels of experience for our clients in the Greater Pittsburgh Region.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in new business development efforts, including cold calling prospects
• Analyze application information and technical requirements in RFQ’s with the goal of qualifying the lead or declining to quote
• Use a solution selling approach during client meetings to simplify delivery of highly complex information into how a product offering can solve specific problems identified in the discovery stage of the sales process
• Work with the client on defining the scope of supply and prepare the proposal
• Negotiate price/terms and overcome obstacles to close deals
• Stay informed of industry trends and collect information on competition
• Develop great working relationships with engineering and vendors
• Travel is typically in the 25 – 50% range
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience
