Founded in 1968, RS Rental Equipment provides South Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island with construction equipment rentals, sales, and service.

R.S. Rentals is offering an excellent opportunity for a Inside Sales Representative ready to start or advance a career in the equipment industry. We are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals to perform a variety of tasks to ensure smooth branch operation. The primary objective of the Inside Sales Associate is to provide superior customer service, process rental quotes and reservations, and terminate contracts, as well as assist with walk-in equipment sales.

Job Duties:

• The Inside Sales Associate's responsibility is to support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals and sales of all types of construction equipment
• This position is considered the Company’s front line of contact with the customer, whose purpose is to understand customer equipment needs, negotiate and place orders
• Schedules / coordinates equipment hauling in support customers' needs through appropriate channels; processes billing
• Investigates and resolves customer problems with equipment deliveries, repairs, billing, and related logistics
• Advises management of significant competitive sales and rental activities
• Works with Service Department to ensure equipment abuse by customers are identified and billed accordingly

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of construction equipment and applications
• The role also requires strong administrative skills and an ability to deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times
• Strong selling, customer-service, relationship-building, planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
• Enjoy working with people in a fast paced environment, be competitive, yet have the ability to remain calm
• Parts sales experience a plus

Experience:

• High school diploma or technical school and/or college degree
• 5+ years of service and customer experience
• Equipment rental or construction industry experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that allows company insurability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
