Role Description
The Business Development Manager will develop and sell new business within an assigned territory. When an opportunity is won the BDM will partner with the Territory Account Manager to create a strategy on how to build out the opportunity and secure a partnership for future revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain elevated level of activity utilizing CRM daily for all KPI's
  • Manage and maintain consistent prospecting, development, and closing of new business.
  • Achieve budget sales plan
  • Consistently generate new leads, identify, and contact decision makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with Corporate strategies, and facilitate a strategic sales process.
  • Champion developing new- business proposals and presentations that create and nurture new opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify trends and customer needs, build a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term targets
  • Identify high- profile regional opportunities
  • Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new- venture integration
  • Manager proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements and content creation
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business- value analysis and negotiate prices for bids and proposals
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, and events
  • Performs all duties as assigned
  • Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.)
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of successful proven sales as an individual contributor
  • Sales Process/Methodologies- clearly understand the elements of a sales process, and implementation within USS
  • Planning and organizing, prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently; plan for additional resources; set goals and objective
  • Problem solving, Identify and resolve problems efficiently; gather and analyze information; develop solutions; use reason, with a bias to execute quickly
  • Written and Oral Communication - communicate clearly and persuasively both in writing and verbally; listen and seek clarification when necessary
  • respond informatively to questions, express self clearly and positively, both verbally and in writing
  • Customer Service - Manage difficult or emotional client situations; respond promptly to customer needs; solicit client feedback to improve service; meet commitments

Salary Range: $65,000.00 to $112,000.00/Yr. At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
