Salary $40,000- $45,000 plus bonus

Azura Genomics is looking for a F/T Business Development Specialist (BDS) to join our team. The BDS will research and identify new opportunities via our company’s database, internet research and social media. The
BDS will introduce Azura Genomics products to potential customers through email, LinkedIn and telephone.

Primary Activity

The primary role of the BDS is to identify and follow-up on customer leads, complete initial rounds of communications and help to establish new business.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities for Azura within our target areas through extensive desk research, consistent outreach and establishing own network of customers.
• Communicate and proactively promote our product portfolio to potential customers using email and cold-calling.
• Build a network of contacts, identify their needs and introduce new products and technologies.
• Follow market trends, including competitor products and new technologies.
• Research potential new accounts and identify appropriate contacts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Science, Business or Communications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, well organized and independent
• Energetic, outgoing and friendly demeanor
• Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with positive attitude when reaching next customer
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM experience preferred.
• Direct sales, customer service or sales support experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
