The Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington/Casino Area is currently seeking a high-energy, self-motivated and eager Director of Sales to join their team.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for all aspects of Sales and Catering for hotel and is also responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction. Responsible for in-house sales, in-house guest recognition programs, special client requests, clerical and marketing duties as assigned and in-house group coordinating with other hotel departments. Prior banquet and food and beverage operations experience a plus.

The successful candidate must have:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be extremely organized with a strong attention to detail.

* Knowledge of the Marriott brand and Marriott systems a plus. Must have 2-3 years of hotel Sales experience.

* Excellent computer skills are required.

* Working knowledge of social media and the ability to create sales collateral through various programs.

* Knowledge of Washington and the surrounding area is required.

* This position will also be responsible for conducting outside sales calls.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as guest business dictates.

Salary will be commensurate with the level of experience and skill set. A generous quarterly-paid bonus program is part of the compensation package for this position.
