Garrett Realty Partners is seeking to hire professional licensed Realtors/Real Estate Agents to join our growing team servicing Hampton Roads, VA. Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and assist sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property
- Determine clients’ needs and financials abilities to propose solutions to suit them
- Assist buyers in finding the right property for their needs
- Assist sellers in marketing their property, listing, and advertising
- Consult clients on the buying process, market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters
- Research local market for value and comparable pricing
- Advise owners on tax deductions and expenses
- Show properties to potential buyers
- Prepare necessary paperwork (contracts, leases, deeds, closing statements and other necessary paperwork)
- Maintain and update listings of available properties
- Cooperate with appraisers, escrow companies, lenders and home inspectors
- Develop networks and maintain positive relationships with attorneys, mortgage lenders, and contractors
- Promote sales through advertisements, Coordinate open houses, and listings for properties
- Remain knowledgeable about real estate markets and best practices
- Network and build connections; continue education and training
Requirements
- Meet state required licensing/certification for real estate. Become member of local/State/National Realtor associations.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to create multiple timelines, and schedules
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
*Prior Real Estate experience preferred but not required for the right individual
