Sherman's Maine Coast Bookshops is a friendly, family-owned chain of book and gift stores with 9 locations across Maine. Sherman's of Freeport is looking for a friendly, full-time Sales Associate to join our team!

Daily tasks include:

• Providing excellent customer service, using Point-of-Sale software
• Receiving, unpacking, and shelving new shipments of books and gifts
• Keeping up-to-date with new book releases and best sellers
• Performing clerical tasks on the computer like researching titles, ordering, inputting customer data, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Candidate requirements:

• 35-40 hours/week (full-time) and year-round
• Punctual and professional
• Ready to learn
• Lifting boxes 25lbs+, standing, and navigating around the store during shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
