Full description of the position

Job Summary

Manage the activities for strategic plans and opportunities to open markets for new products. Support activities in Market Access.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(Include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Research and conduct analysis of the market in terms of coverage and reimbursement, existing and emerging payer policies, formulary listings, competitive landscape, trends, pricing, contracting strategies, potential barriers to provider and patient access
  • Support and assist the Head of Market Access in the preparation of the product launch and after launch activities
  • Perform administrative work in supporting Market Access activities in gathering information, making external contacts and/or calls, preparing presentations, etc
  • Perform other tasks as necessary and/or required

Supervisory Responsibility

  • None

Qualifications

  • Full understanding of US Reimbursement landscape for pharmaceutical products, including private and state payer programs
  • Demonstrated effectively worked in a multi-cultural, global team environment
  • Strong knowledge and use of computer applications including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health, or related field with 5+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech companies
  • Experience working in Commercial, Marketing, Sales in pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare companies
