Job Title : Exhale Smoke Shop Retail Manager
The Exhale Smoke Shop Retail Manager is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operation of the retail store to make sure that employees work together effectively to make sales and contribute to the store upkeep. General tasks include but are not limited: Communicating with vendors, scheduling employee shifts, training new employees and managing customer interactions.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Supervise, train and assist retail sales associates in customer service, store maintenance, product promotions and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for store promotions
- Seek ways to better promote the store, products and services
- Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, maintain contact with vendors.
- Implement cross training of employees to maintain productivity at all times
- Make sure that the store remains clean and welcoming at all times.
- Taking inventory of the products on the sales floor, stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Being knowledgeable in methods of tobacco/ cannabis consumption
- Display merchandise to maximize sales
- Resolve customer complaints
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and qualifications:
We would ideally like a candidate to have smoke shop/ head shop experience as well as management experience.
- Must have 3+ years of prior retail sales experience
- Must have 1+ years of prior retail management experience
- Familiarity with POS systems
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person as well as over the telephone.
- Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills.
- Must thrive in a team setting and take direction well.
- Extensive knowledge of cannabis / tobacco consumption methods.
- Is punctual, reliable, professional and trainable.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to lift 50lbs unaided.
Training :
- On the job training will be provided to supplement existing experience
Evaluations :
- Performance evaluations will be done on an annual basis, except new hires. New hires will be evaluated after 90 days, and then annually.
Schedule :
- The schedule for this position varies, weekends and holidays may be included. The shift is 9 hours with one hour as an unpaid break.
Benefits :
- Earned Paid Time Off is earned at a rate of 1.0 hours per every 40 hours worked for a maximum of 40 hours.
Compensation :
- Compensation for this position is $35k to $45k annually dependant on experience.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
