Horch Roofing is growing our Southern Maine sales team! We are a local company dedicated to our Core Values of Safety, Respect, and Quality looking for a dynamic, outgoing, full-time Sales Estimator based in Southern Maine. There is no cold calling or soliciting leads. Candidates will be responsible for site visits with prospective customers, preparing estimates, and negotiating contracts with customers for gutters, asphalt roofing, standing-seam metal roofing, and EPDM roofing jobs.

Ideal candidates should have a minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in the trades, knowledge of roofing procedures, application, and materials. Strong communication skills and computer skills required as well as a high school degree (or equivalent) and a valid driver's license.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR POSITION:

Experience and Skill Requirements: The following experience and skills are considered essential:

• At least two years of sales and/or customer service experience, preferably in the construction trades, required.
• Customer Service-Communicating with customers, striving to exceed their expectations.
• Human Relations/Teamwork-Ability to deal with a wide variety of people and personalities.
• Communication Skills-Adept at verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematics-Ability to measure, draw angles and perform calculations accurately.
• Problem Solving-Adept and analyzing situations, evaluating alternatives and making good decisions.
• Time Management/Prioritization-Able to determine priorities and meet deadlines.
• Attention to Detail-Detail oriented; able to work with a minimum of errors.
• High School education or the equivalent required.
• Knowledge of roofing procedures, application and materials preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
