Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative:

• Source potential customers and follow up on existing leads
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other networking opportunities within assigned territory
• Provide prospective clientele with technical product and pricing information
• Negotiate terms and prepare sales agreements
• Provide excellent customer service and knowledge of products/ services to customers
• Research market trends and competitors' products to streamline business development
• Maintain client records and activity logs

Requirements of the Business Development Representative:

• 1+ years of Administrative or Sales experience in an office setting
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network
• Experience in the Microsoft Suite and Salesforce preferred
• Active driver's license and vehicle with insurance coverage required
