Full description of the position

Seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the Steelcase sales team in the Southern California. Responsible for growing the market and maintaining brand relevance with dealers and clients. You will leverage your sales and communication skills to build a local sales strategy, create market growth objectives, and develop and lead a high performing sales team.

What You Will Be Doing:
Within the assigned sales region, manages sales roles for special product categories/influencers as well as Business Development Managers and/or Strategic Account Managers providing leadership, accountability, and direction for sales activities and dealership performance. Analyzes market information and determines sales, market share, and profitability goals. Develops strategies and plans for achieving the goals. Appropriately develops and deploys Steelcase sales resources within the sales region to optimize business results with all key audiences. Implements approved sales and marketing programs within the sales region.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree
  • 10+ years relevant work experience, including prior management experience
  • Knowledge of local market/region is a plus
