Job Description
Raeford Hardware is a locally owned and operated store in Raeford NC. We maintain a strong presence in the power equipment industry. We sell paint, plumbing, electrical, firearms, Etc. We are a growing store with a dynamic staff, looking for the right person to join our team.

Experience with small engine equipment, Paint, Plumbing, Electrical, and Firearms is a plus. Must have good communication and computer skills, able to function as part of the team, and/or independently in a well established, fast paced environment. This is a full time opportunity for the qualified applicant.

Duties:

• Load up to 90lbs to load bags of concrete etc. Assemble new lawnmowers, blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, generators, etc.
• Look up parts on a computer.
• Place orders for special order parts-Place orders for stocked parts and keep shelves stocked.
• Tag and check in equipment needing repair.
• Assist customers with paint, hardware, plumbing and electrical needs
• Cut Keys

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 90lbs to load bags of concrete.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Strong work ethic

• Mechanically inclined is an asset
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience on computers
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor

Compensation/Work schedule

• Pay will be based on qualification and experience.
• Will be required to work 5 days a week Monday through Saturday, 1 hour lunch break with 1 day off in between totaling out to be 45 hours per week.
• Will be required to work Saturdays
• Can opt in to a Saturday off rotation every 4-5 weeks
