Nutrien Ag Solutions is hiring a Crop Consultant to join its growing team in Avon, NY.

As a Crop Consultant, you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with existing growers to increase sales of agriculture inputs in order to meet and exceed sales objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary product
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues
• Assure customer satisfaction by issuing appropriate product with on time and accurate delivery
• Perform initial credit review of customers to determine credit risk
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers

Requirements:

• Associates degree in agronomy, ag business, or related degree preferred
• 2+ years of agronomy or crop experience required
• 1+ years of sales experience desired
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
