Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Grade Control - Sales & Service Specialist to join their team to serve Sacramento, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our Grade Control - Sales & Service Specialist, you will deliver equipment to customers following manufacturer guidelines and representing the dealer and Pape’ in a professional manner, along with training the operators and owners in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. You will also be installing Grade Control Technology on heavy equipment (Dozer, Graders, Excavators, CTL equipment). Additionally, you will revisit with those customers for further training and equipment diagnostics with the ultimate goal of increasing sales and profitability in the region, ensuring customer satisfaction, initiating future equipment sales, and reducing warranty claims. WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Four plus years of technical and mechanical ability with Grade Control and heavy equipment or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work with John Deere/TopCon computer programs.
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Travel (including overnight) will be required and overtime work may be required as well.

Starting Compensation: Base Salary plus Commission
