This position is eligible to work from home in the Sutter Health Northern California footprint. Possible onsite visits may be necessary in the future.Manages all aspects of client contact for assigned physician practices and acts as liaison between Clients and Sutter Health (SH) staff to address practice needs. Has project team and mentorship responsibilities for other staff members, and interfaces with the client staff, other departments, and divisions within SH. Facilitates effective resolutions to complex practice issues and tracks and analyzes performance data, involving the services and systems. Keeps apprised of practice operations to proactively address potential items of concern. Cultivates and maintains robust relationships with a full load of clients, including the most complex situations that result in high-levels of client satisfaction, retention, and adoption of additional services that are offered. Builds collective energy and excitement around projects, and generates active discourse among contacts. Accurately works through logics, facts and data to quickly achieve results and goals. Transfers/teaches subject matter expertise and understanding to other employees and/or clients.
Job Description:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Communications, Marketing, Business Administration
or a Healthcare related field or equivalent education/experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
5 years experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) in a sales, service, account management, customer service, or implementation capacity.
5 years experience leading internal staff and external client relationships.
5 years experience in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job family and basic knowledge of other job families.
5 years experience in the following areas:
- developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
- interpreting contracts and marketing plans
- working with physicians, analyzing, forecasting, interpreting and presenting health care provider performance data
- designing and implementing solutions to provider issues and problems
- working with multiple clients, complex client relationships and/or high volume of accounts
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
High degree of knowledge regarding the Vendor to Client relationship and the implications of the pertinent laws and regulations.
Demonstrates mastery of physician practice operations, and thorough knowledge of services and products offered by Sutter Health and physician practices.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of clinical integration, EHR, third party payer requirements, medical terminology, specialized workflows, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)/Meaningful Use (MU) guidelines, principles of business administration, and routine troubleshooting skills in Epic.
Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
Knowledge and ability to understand global/national/regional health care issues.
Presentation, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with ability to frame situations in a positive manner to achieve client satisfaction.
Knowledgeable on competitor EHR systems and how the Sutter Community Connect (SCC) program compares accordingly.
Knowledge of community-related issues, understand competitive strategies and anticipate client/network needs.
Proven ability to coach clients, stakeholders, and peers in scenarios that lead to positive outcomes.
Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
Understands the interpersonal dynamics with each client and is able to successfully navigate optimal communication delivery methods for each situation.
Self-starter with ability to set priorities and manage time efficiently.
Ability to design and implement solutions to a wide range of issues and problems.
Demonstrates technology skills using Word and Excel or similar programs, and other applications or database to access and process information.
Pay Range: $34.42-$51.63
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
