MOGAS is seeking an experienced and proven Regional Sales Manager to champion the North America region of MOGAS' business. This role will be responsible for successfully developing and executing a regional sales strategy to achieve three years strategic plan / business plan objectives. In addition, have a laser focus on activities that lead to customer retention and new account acquisition to drive revenues and net income.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Strategy - Effectively collaborate with Product Managers, Industry Technical Experts, Market Analyst, Service to develop and execute a Regional MRO Sales Strategy using an in-depth understanding of regional market trends, customer activity, competitor activity, macro trends and industry trends to achieve three years Strategic plan / Business plan objectives;
- Sales & Sales Management - Effectively apply and coach/train/hold accountable reps and TMs to apply the principles of strategic selling to identify different types of buyers (economic, user, technical, coach), buying influences and degree of influence; effectively use MOGAS resources to overcome the hurdles/influence decision makers to close the sale); promoter of Salesforce; keeps SalesForce updated and current with accounts, contacts, touches, opportunities, tasks etc.
- Customer Focus - Conduct proper due-diligence to hire a new rep. Train/coach TMs to conduct due-diligence to hire new reps; Provide product, target applications, training to reps and leverage resources such as Technology, Product Management, Services to train and bring reps on-board in the shortest possible time
- Collaborate & Support - Collaborate with Projects and Service team as required to develop and execute strategies to win key projects and service contracts
Qualified candidates must have an applicable degree with a Mechanical Engineering degree highly preferred. Minimum seven (7) to ten (10) years’ sales experience with at least five (5) years in the valve industry (ball valve highly preferred).
The right candidate will need to be a hands on sales leader with an entrepreneurial strategic mindset and passion to execute the strategy. Must demonstrate impeccable sales acumen, technical background and knowledge of valves and the market.
