Position: Regional Industrial Sales Manager
Region/Area: Virginia Market

Position Summary: The Regional Industrial Manager will be responsible for growing the sales volume of industrial, protective and specialty coatings within their geographical area. They are expected to work with our existing sales team and individually target prospects for direct selling. They are expected to be able to specify, sell, and provide technical expertise to our employees, customers, specifiers, and project owners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for servicing customers and developing sales in a designated territory.
- Establish new accounts by discovering business opportunities and calling on new customers as well as working with Account Managers to grow their Industrial sales.
- Give product recommendations, application instructions, and quote competitive pricing on coatings for the roofing, manufacturing, and industrial fields.
- Work in conjunction with Regional Sales Manager and other Account managers to ensure consistent growth of Industrial and Roofing Sales in region specified.
- Maintain regular contact with customers, vendors and Account managers to understand needs and identify business opportunities.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
- Ensure all internal reporting is completed in a timely fashion with correct information.
- Regularly communicate with Industrial Sales Management regarding status and progress of accounts and markets.
- Encourage and develop a team culture with store and account managers.
- Actively establish and build strong relationships with external and internal partners.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Industrial Sales Management Team

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must reside or be willing to relocate within the Region applying for.
- Must have 5 years of experience in specifying or selling protective industrial coatings
- Must be able to travel when necessary
- Must be able to apply for NACE CIP LV 1 certification in future, if not already achieved.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Strong desire to achieve top results with a positive can-do demeanor
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and close deals
- Territory management experience a plus
- Ability to excel at product knowledge, presentation skills, and building client relationships
- Commitment to ethical behavior and willingness to adhere to company policies
- Able to pass a drug screen and background & MVR check
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
