Full description of the position

Position Summary

The Customer Account Associate supports coordinators in providing world-class service to Sales Office, Overseas Resource Office, and end-customers. Problem solving through multiple contact channels via phone, email, and instant messaging. Review warehouse inventory levels, purchase goods with the assistance of internal Supply Chain Management tool, Sales office, and Overseas Resource Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class service to Sales Office, Overseas Resource Office, and end-customers in a customer-centric environment.
  • Support duties on selected customer accounts to accomplish daily operational tasks.
  • Maintain an accurate database of SKUs in the customer portfolio and assist in setup new SKUs when needed.
  • Manage/process customer orders via multiple receipt methods: EDI, Email, Excel spreadsheet, and Customer portal.
  • Monitor open customer orders and warehouse inventory from ERP and online. platforms - to ensure timely shipping of orders, update customers with order status inquiries and inventory inquiries, address inventory issues and ship date delays.
  • Identify and generate purchase orders, verify purchase order cost updates, maintain various file records as needed.
  • Assist in research of inventory imbalances, identify root causes and solutions.
  • Provide weekly inventory related reports to supervisor.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education:

  • 2-3 experience in customer service and/or purchasing and inventory analysis
  • SAP ERP experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel
  • Great communication skills - written and verbal
  • A self-starter with a willingness to take initiative, set priorities, quick learner
  • Customer oriented, pro-activate, detailed oriented
  • Associate degree or higher preferred

Physical Demands:

· Use computer/keyboard & sit throughout the day

· Use phone during the day

· Lift 5 to 10 lbs. when storing/retrieving documents

Work Conditions:

· General office conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year
