Regional Sales Manager – Northern California
Full-time.

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our growing organization, a driven individual with experience deploying sales strategies and initiatives. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with travel and is willing to go the extra mile to grow their sales region. A successful candidate will have experience working across a variety of business functions and be able to foster effective relationships with clients, colleagues and management.

To meet this goal, Lola developed the best licensed craft cannabis farm in the state and is looking to expand the team with individuals ready to pioneer the rapidly developing California cannabis industry.
The Regional Sales Manager will be at the forefront of LOLA entry into the market by executing sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed monthly growth goals. Responsibilities include developing relationships with key decision-makers at distribution partners, dispensaries, consistent budtender education, and management of 3rd party sales agency reps to meet company goals and maximize revenues.
The Sales and Distribution Manager will play an essential role, contributing individually but also collaborating with future hires. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for building awareness and sell-through across the company's products. We are looking for a record of successfully growing brand share and developing effective ‘account-management-strategies’ within the California cannabis industry. The ideal candidate will enjoy building long term relationships established on consistency and has exceptional communication and follow through. This position will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Finished Goods departments. Overall, this role at LOLA is comprehensive; requiring the ability to personally manage sales accounts and understanding the unique dynamics of dispensaries, budtenders, and the industry as a whole.

Specific Responsibilities & Essential Duties:
- Sell LOLA Bulk Flower.
- Sign 5-10 new accounts every quarter with goals adjusted regularly, achieving projected sales goals and share monthly reports on progress
- Grow retail presence within a defined territory
- Work closely with retail accounts to set up monthly promotions and sales
- Help develop a Marketing strategy
- Communicate regularly with our Distribution partners and work cohesively with management, at coordinating new account initiatives.
- Drive sales growth and sell through. Identify revenue opportunities within the client base and achieve consistent growth
- Identify best-practices for product placement within a dispensary and understand methods for working with dispensary managers to ensure optimization
- Work with management to develop annual sales forecasts and quarterly goals
- Maintain broad knowledge of the California cannabis market
- Manage some administrative duties
Learn. Develop robust knowledge of our company, products, collaborations, and retail partners in order to implement in-store brands, marketing plans, strategies, and promotional programs at a store-by-store level.
Collaborate with our management and distribution partners, on development and execution of company sales goals and strategies
Relationships. Establish, maintain and deepen relationships for all retail accounts. Understand the composition of dispensary owner and buyer relationships within the assigned territory. You will attend cannabis social events throughout your territory to nurture and form relationships throughout the region.
Goals. Establish and achieve company revenue goals. Develop strong relationships within the assigned region through consistent contact and a consultative approach, maintaining a steady 30/60/90-day sales pipeline
Track. Monitor and report on industry trends, the competitive landscape and potential market opportunities. Provide detailed reports to senior management containing sales goals, forecasts, and anticipated inventory needs
Report. Track, analyze and share key sales metrics and performance indicators
Meet. Participate in sales meetings and other cross-functional team meetings. Maintain consistent feedback and communication with Management to strategically improve our relationships, in-store presence, merchandising and shelf space
Share. Keep an open dialogue of weekly goals and needs in relation to the overarching goals of the company. Keep the management and operations teams informed on sales goals
Travel. This job requires visiting shops throughout Northern/Central California as well as attendance and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and trade-shows, and provide post-event reports, lead generation performance, and analysis
The PREFERRED CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO:
- Leverage 2 years of cannabis sales with strong retailer relationships
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and organization skills
- Educate buyers and retailers on the nuance of our Company & products
- Display a deep understanding of industry-specific trends and landscapes
- Prove a track record of consistently working well within a team to meet and exceed individual and collective sales goals
- Prove the ability to offer clear, solution-based value propositions
- Managing the full life cycle of sales from prospecting to closing business
- Exude a high-energy, hunter mentality with a drive to succeed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be 21 years old
- Minimum of 2 years of experience on a cannabis sales team
- Organizational skills and ability to optimize time & resources
- Prior account relationships in Central and Northern California
- Willing to travel approximately 70% of the time within the region
- Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Word, Outlook, & Excel
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and excellent driving record
- Must be able to sit or stand for hours at a time
- Must be able to lift/carry 30 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with occasional events on weekends
- Salary: $25/hr quarterly commission; salary commensurate with experience. Commission and compensation reviewed semi-annually
