Now Hiring - Regional Sales Manager in Louisville, OH

The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Sr Sales and Business Development Executive. In this position you will be responsible for driving growth with an existing customer base, developing new customer opportunities, developing new opportunities within existing customer base, understanding market competitiveness and pricing. This position requires substantial interaction with the customer, brokers, and multiple departments within the Biery Cheese organization.

What you bring to the role:

• Responsible for establishment, and achievement of an annual sales and profit plan that aligns with company goals.
• Responsible for Headquarter calls and management of Broker network associated with Key accounts.
• Provide regular reports detailing customer plans, performance results, growth progress and margin performance.
• Support the needs of the customer outside the immediate area of responsibility.
• Track record of bringing on business with existing and new customers.
• Strong understanding of forecasting.
• Keep updated on the industry by attending food shows, reading industry news and maintaining a solid network.
• Think, question, and challenge yourself and the internal team to look at situations different from what has been done in the past.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Proven track record of success and 5-10 years of experience in sales role – food-based sales preferred.
• Working knowledge of the Cheese and/or Dairy industry preferred.
• Must have solid business and financial acumen to manage customer profitability.
• Strong experience with national and regional retailers for Private Label sales preferred.
• Experience with contract manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications expected.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong teamwork, cross departmental collaboration expected.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 30-40% required.
