Orangetheory Fitness Tuckahoe is looking to fill a limited number of part and full-time positions at the Membership Advisor position. This is a fun, high-energy position, with the potential for growth within the organization.

OTF Membership Advisors assist in running all “front of house” fitness studio operations, with a strong focus on premium customer service, as well as meeting sales expectations. Ideal candidates for this position have strong customer-service skills and basic sales experience. In this regard, Prospect/Membership Specialists (Membership Advisors) are responsible for meeting and exceeding all key performance sales indicators for the fitness studio, including membership sales and renewals, retail and concession sales, maximizing workout traffic, and maintaining premium customer service levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reaching out to a minimum of 50 leads/prospects per eight-hour shift
• Maintain accurate records using established OTF sales systems
• Greet members and guests promptly and enthusiastically to create a friendly, positive entrance into the studio
• Accurately follow the daily studio cleaning checklist (pre/during/post) shift activities
• Participate in a minimum of two (2) OTF scheduled workouts per week
• Maintain an organized and clean lobby/front desk area
• Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
• Respond immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns
• Onboard all OTF clients using Client Intake Forms and Membership Agreements
• Work closely with co-workers and management to ensure that all OTF processes are fulfilled
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent customer service skills + passion for fitness
• Previous sales experience preferred, coupled with strong sales skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a busy environment
• Functional computer skills – MS Office basic programs (Word, Excel), Internet, Basic computer program software use
• Flexibility to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed

COMPENSATION:

$15.00/Hour

+

Team/Personal/Sales-Oriented Bonuses (bringing average compensation to ~$18/hour)

+

5% of retail sales

Job Type: Part/Full-Time - Varied (35-40 hours per week)

Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
