Job summary:

Outside Sales Persons- more than 50% of working time in the field, rather than at any office (home office or otherwise), actively engaged in selling the Products to businesses

Job Requirements:
· Sales Representative Employees pursue all sales leads within the Company’s market area, provided that the company is not presently doing business with the Customer.

· Must be knowledgeable about all products Worldwide sells and distributes, and be aware of Customer product uses and needs.

· Customer, Employees must complete and turn in a Customer Profile Form for each potential customer to the Sales Department, and the customer’s Credit Application to the Accounting Department before becoming eligible to earn Commissions.

· Once the Customer Profile Form and the Credit Application are turned in, Worldwide Produce will notify the Employee if the Employee will be eligible to earn Commissions for Qualified Sales to that Customer.

· Aggressively develop and maintain new accounts with a focus on Produces

· Identify customer needs and satisfy them profitably.

• Maintain existing customer base through effective customer service skills.
• Follow through with customer requests.
• Maintain open communications with other Sales/Marketing Associates.
• Introduce new items to customers.
• Up-sell product in inventory.
• Input orders into the computer system (Produce Pro) when necessary.
• Enter prospects into Produce Pro
• Attend sales meetings as required.
• Submit all required sales reports.
• Adherence to attendance policy and work schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.

• Minimum Five (5) years of experience in a sales-related position, food distribution required.
• Strong communication skills
• General understanding of distribution and warehousing procedures preferred.
• Geographical knowledge of Los Angeles, San Diego, and the outlying area.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in a positive manner, follow through on directions, and organize effectively to satisfy the customers’ needs.
• Must be able to work with all levels within the organization
• Maintain auto insurance limits within company Requirements
• Ability to work Saturdays
• Maintain acceptable MVR

· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1,200.00 per week
