Southeastern Equipment is looking for a Regional Sales Manager dedicated to developing, mentoring, and managing our outside sales team. The position will have regional responsibilities: SE Ohio, West Virginia. Travel will be required.
Job Description: Regional Sales Manager
Immediate Responsibilities
- Promoting communication, cooperation and teamwork between the associates, other regions and departments.
- Coordinating needs of the branch for equipment and financial resources
- Overseeing salesmen in obtaining sales goals, making calls, and caring for customers
- Resolve customer disputes, full responsibility for total customer care in assigned territories
- Traveling with salesmen and assisting on sales calls/closing sales
- Ensure salesmen are using Salesforce to manage customers and record sales calls
- Growth of the sales and rental department (including goals related to specific lines of equipment)
- Monitor key accounts
Oversight Duties
- Overseeing employee issues as needed/coordinating with other managers on these issues
- Cooperating with branch managers at each location
- Recommending changes for each branch to management and helping to implement those changes
Any other task as requested by management in relation to these facilities which includes:
- Travel between the locations required (mileage reimbursement and travel expenses covered) 70% travel
- Travel to meetings at corporate and sales meetings/trainings
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of outside sales experience
- 5 years of sales management experience (across a geographic territory)
- Heavy Equipment and /or dealership experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop functional teams
- Commitment to providing customers with the BEST service, before, during, and after the sale
- Technologically proficient: Salesforce, Excel, and other proprietary software programs

- "Can do" attitude and the ability to deal with resistance in the marketplace
