Job Title: Commercial Sales Support Specialist

Location: St. Louis (hybrid role/2 days onsite)

Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm CT (flexible)

Positon: contact to hire opportunity

Job Description: The Commercial Sales Support Specialist is the primary point of contact for customized order processing for our Commercial Americas Customers.

· Communicate customer requirements via accurate order entry, data management, and specification review
· Provide proactive communication on the status of orders by monitoring from entry through shipment, with support from Order Management and Planning, to ensure tiely delivery and customer satisfaction
· Support customers by proactively reducing the frequency of complaints through effective preventative actions, customized order processing, and order management techniques to drive strong business relationships and ensure business and customer retention.

· Take ownership of all customer interactions to ensure outstanding service of order placement, order status, and customer complaint issues.
· Confirm customer packaging configurations, and customer specifications using change control data to ensure customer expectations are met
· Offer alternate products and configuration(s) when the requested product is not available
· Develop solutions for customer inquiries, problem-solve to meet or exceed customer expectations
· Identify root cause and corrective actions to minimize customer impact
· Investigate and resolve the inquiry with the appropriate functional areas

Must Haves:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Understanding of order process
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Inquistive mindset

Nice to Haves:

• Some college experience preferred
• SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, or ERP system experience
• Highly organized
• Investigative skills
