Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Parts Sales Associate for our new parts store in Virginia Beach, VA. In this critical role you would provide HVAC parts related service to customers in the store and over the phone. You will also be responsible for parts identification, order management, inventory selection and pricing, and receiving and stocking inventory. This is 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday role between the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm.

What you will do:

• Sell HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and in person interacting with customers on a daily basis
• Create solutions for customers by providing overall technical support and researching options including, but not limited to receiving and processing orders, product and service questions, warranty administration and overall customer complaints
• Inventory selection and management, ensuring that it is appropriately accounted for
• Communicate to management when pricing is not in line with market price and local product knowledge
• Process customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Drive customer policy enhancements based on need and makes exceptions to customer policies and procedures where appropriate

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of related customer service experience
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC industry experience
• College / Technical degree preferred
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated example of taking initiative with a solid work ethic
• Certified Forklift / Reach Truck Operator
