We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our growing sales team in West, Henrietta, NY!

In this role, you will be primarily working on our Timing Products and our GNSS Simulation Products.
The Position:
You will be responsible for building customer relationships and growing the pipeline and sales within the North American Commercial markets for Orolia time and synchronization products. As a key member of the Sales team, you will create and execute tactical plans to achieve and exceed your assigned sales targets. You will be responsible for prospecting from Orolia’s large internal database of leads and accounts to build your book of business. You will also be responsible for self-guided business development activities for key markets, industries, and target accounts.
The Day to Day:
- Prospect for new business while managing book of existing business and new web leads
- Develop and execute action plans to develop and increase orders in territory and increase orders (North America) consistent with company strategy
- Exceed annual order plan
- Understanding of technology trends, relative business impacts and opportunities
- Comprehension of assigned market dynamics, including competitive landscape, to:
- provide product input ideas to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering
- identify target markets/applications
- create and execute plans to penetrate market
- Results are achieved by effectively managing assigned resources and utilizing sales acumen to close sales
What You Bring to Orolia:
- Ability to prospect and develop a pipeline of business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter, confident, committed and enthusiastic
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task and prioritize
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Ability to learn technical products
- Strong pipeline management skills
- Interpersonal skills to develop relationships with customers and partners
- Ability to proficiently use MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM tools,
- Experience with SalesForce.com or comparable CRM
- Ability to connect and collaborate with global teams
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience (technical product or solution sales preferred)
No prior experience in timing technologies required - Experience in prospecting (cold calling, lead management, and business development) highly desired
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated success in building a book of business
Travel required (up to 25%) to visit customers, partners, tradeshows, and various company events or trainings - Position based in Rochester, NY
