Full description of the position

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Boat Sales Connection answers incoming calls, email and website sales requests/information branded products shown on our White River Marine Group websites. BSC provides customer service to not only the immediate sales customer but also to company owned and independent dealers for sales/tech and service questions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Answers incoming sales request using phone or web applications.
  • Assists in obtaining credit application and/or cash sales.
  • Provides industry leading customer service in all communications.
  • Responds to requests via chat messaging.
  • Facilitates product sales between dealer and manufacturing for Non-A Website sales.
  • Coordinates approved sale to customers’ preferred delivering dealerships.
  • Remits club card sales for participating dealerships during sale events.
  • Develops and tracks application status post submission and delivery.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Years of experience: 1+ years sales experience, preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Ability to multi-task over various communication platforms
  • Good time management skills
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regular computer work and sitting

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
