Job description for Key Account Area Sales Manager
Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Reporting to: Vice-President of Sales
Responsibility: Key responsibility is to develop new business with electronic, automotive component, 3D printing, material manufacturers and machine integrator customers in the New England states. Makes sales calls to existing and new customers and develop accounts in the defined territory. The sales manager develops and promotes customers and market and sells ViscoTec products in a wide range of applications in defined industries.
Primary point of contact for his clients in all aspects from quoting to technical assistance and can provide excellent customer service to the clients during all phases of the sales and after sales cycle. After the initial phase of getting adjusted Sales Manager will develop accounts and present growth strategies to upper management on how to grow the market further. With time, increasing sales and profitability, Sales Manager may make suggestions on hiring additional personnel how to improve existing structures.
Requirements: A minimum of 1-2 years sales work related experience is required with a significant amount of experience in travelling. Requires tact and diplomacy in order to interface with all levels of customers.
Requires excellent oral and written skills to communicate in a professional manner. Requires the ability to organize and prioritize work in a multi-task, high pressure setting; which involves a high degree of initiative and independent judgement. Knowledge of dispensing technology and equipment preferred. Requires the ability to use computers and other standard office equipment. Proficient knowledge in all standard MS programs is mandatory.
Flexible and dynamic personality, excellent communication skills. This is a travelling position, meaning that the majority of the time is spend travelling to make sales calls to customer in the specified region. The travel will be self-organized. Expected travel is 50% -60% of time.

Work times: Sales Manager is self-sufficient and will organize him/herself and work hours according to best serve the clients. It is expected that
Sales Manager is available for customer calls on his mobile phone and via email at least during normal business hours and also during reasonable after hours / weekends. This is within the normal scope of this position expected to be handled and it is part of the base compensation. Flexibility is key: Customer calls – Account manager responds as required.
Reporting: The Sales Manager will report through CRM system and weekly conference call with VP of Sales. Other reports on sales activites, forecasts, quotes, major projects may also be required. Sales trips and customer visits will be logged in expense reports.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
