Employee Benefits Account Manager
LP Insurance Services, LLC is looking for an Employee Benefits Account Manager to provide complex services to clients of the Employee Benefit Division. We are an established yet growing commercial and personal insurance brokerage firm, specializing in property, casualty, surety, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, personal and medical practice insurance with an emphasis on risk management services. This position allows a hybrid schedule, but you must live in Reno for client meetings/packet building.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferred. High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- 3+ years’ related experience as an insurance broker, benefits consultant, or for an insurance carrier, required.
- Life and Health Agents/Brokers license, required. If you do not already possess licensure, you must have the ability to obtain such within 6 months of hire.
- Proven organizational and time management skills, including working with specific deadlines.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Fostering strong relationships with clients and carrier representatives.
- Responding to complex client questions and requests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Maintaining knowledge of all lines of coverage for each client and advising client on available options, providing recommendations as appropriate.
- Preparing proposals and comparisons of insurance to assist Producers with presentation to clients.
· Ensuring all files are organized and accurately documented in Benefit Point.
· Mentoring less experienced members of the Benefits team.
