Full description of the position

Job Summary:The sales associate is responsible for welcoming customers as they enter the store. Assist customers with flooring selections and follow through with sales and service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers to determine flooring needs.
• Gives additional product features and benefits when needed.
• Accept and process customer’s payments.
• Write sales orders, issues samples, provide estimates.
• Work with installations team to schedule jobs.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound judgment, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships.
• Basic skill level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Organized and capable of handling high volume of interactions with all departments.
• Ability to multi-task various processes and projects.
• Must have effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Some retail experience preferred

Work Environment:

• Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

• Minimal lifting up to 25lbs.
• Local driving

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
