Direct Sales Representatives

Note: This position is not remote and requires a personal vehicle.

As a DFW home-grown pest control company, Moxie Pest Control is now one of the fastest growing pest control organizations in the United States! We are looking for a results-driven sales representatives to work door-to-door starting immediately in assigned neighborhoods in Dallas, Texas and surrounding areas, to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.

The position title is route manager. Sales reps sell one-year agreements to Moxie’s residential pest control service and are compensated $18/hr base pay plus $200 commission for every account sold beyond the tenth in each two-week pay period. New sales reps should sell a minimum of one account per day, and while most average two sales per day after two months, many sell four or more on average within two months of starting. There is no cap or decrease in commission as more accounts are sold. Paid training at $12.50/hr for first seven days of work. Base pay plus commission begins after seven training days are completed.

Top sales reps work hard and talk to 40 to 60 prospects per day and apply their sales training effectively. Daily in-person training is provided as well as access to tons of digital training resources and regular shadowing and feedback to ensure success.

Sales reps are full-time W2 employees and are eligible for benefits (i.e., medical/dental/vision, etc.). Individuals wanting to seize upon this opportunity need to have transportation from their home to the field each day.

Moving up is always a plus! Within two months of working with Moxie, you may be offered the opportunity of working as a squad leader managing 3-5 other sales reps. Compensation runs $3000-$6000 per month extra as a squad leader, and squad leaders have time to still earn their own sales commission 30+ hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Canvass (Door to Door sales) daily to sell residential pest control accounts
• Successful candidates must be friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and motivated; dependable, reliable and goal driven.
• Your daily mission is to generate excitement, increase brand awareness and set appointments for attic inspections. Effectively educate consumers about Moxie, our mission and our products.
• Greet customers warmly and ascertain problems and build value.
• Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products.
• Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
• Verifies and maintains customer records by updating account information.
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees, clients and customers.
• Good computer skills are a must.
• Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.

Qualifications:

• Individuals must be prepared to go door-to-door visiting prospects
• Must have reliable transportation from your home to the field
• Basic Computer Skills – Comfortable using phone and iPad to input and manage leads
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence
• Proven ability to inform on Moxie Residential Pest Control Services, while maintaining sharp attention-to-detail
• Hours will vary depending on the season – 9:00am – 5:30pm (fall/winter); 12:30pm – 9:00pm (summer)(spring/summer).

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college graduate preferred.
• At least two (2) years of inside or outside sales experience preferred.
• In lieu of sales experience, Moxie is willing to invest in the right candidate.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
