VP Supply Corp is one of the nation's largest distributors of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies. We have over 350 employees with 15 locations across Western New York and Pennsylvania. For over 50 years, we have proudly served residential customers as well as contractors and municipalities across a variety of industries.

Position Overview:

Our company is looking for an experienced sales leader focused on growing and developing our outside sales team with our HVAC Sales Division.

VP Supply is a renowned leader in the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical wholesale industries. Our staff has decades of expertise between them, which we utilize to provide the best customer experience to both commercial and residential clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving revenue and conversion for the HVAC division
  • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the field
  • A monthly review of accounts and sales activities
  • Ensure all sellers execute sales activity aligned to the growth plan and budgets
  • Review sales coverage to ensure resources are utilized effectively through alignment to verticals, territories, and customers
  • Lead consistent, productive sales coaching sessions with each member of the sales team while providing timely feedback on sales performance
  • Ensure sales team members develop, maintain, and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities while ensuring an accurate forecast of bookings, revenue, and sales initiatives
  • Assist with the development and presentation of strategic sales presentations/proposals
  • Continue to evaluate regions for growth and plans to execute
  • Monitor sales metrics, implement actions to improve sales performance, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Adopt and support tools/platforms, initiatives and programs focused on enhancing sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain relationships with customers insuring their satisfaction with our products and services at all times;
  • Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or subsequent years of experience required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales / sales management experience in HVAC industry, or related industry in professional positions with increasing responsibility preferred
  • Understanding of market dynamics including industry trends
  • Proven track record of coaching sales teams to deliver results
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from various sources in both graphic and verbal format, while easily translating them to the target audience
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and coaching skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities
  • Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
