A national Crop retail division is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join their growing team here in West Michigan. This company's purpose is to grow our world from the ground up and to do so with safety and integrity.

Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to build trusting partnerships and increase sales of agricultural inputs in order to exceed sales goals.
- Consult with growers on agricultural needs, issues, and prescribe appropriate solutions and actions to resolve any issues.
- Conduct soil sampling and conduct analysis for fertilizer, seeds, chemicals, logistics, and financing.
- Assure customer satisfaction of products including, but not limited to on time and accurate delivery and quality of product
- Manage sales to meet profit margin goals

- Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products
- Perform other duties as assigned
Sales Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or related degree preferred, in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years’ experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry, as well as, the application of agricultural chemicals preferred
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Clean driving record
- Sales experience preferred

Pay: $51,062.00 - $65,000.00 per year
