Full description of the position

Summary of Position

The Regional Sales Manager manages all aspects of Sales and Store Operations in all area within their Region. This includes recruiting, hiring, training & developing employees; maximizing sales ; ensuring customer satisfaction; profit and loss management ; expense control, and execution of all policies and procedures. Partnering with Director of Sales, Human Resources, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, IT, Logistics/Inventory, and other corporate personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to the assigned region, overseeing retail activities and stores.
  • Ability to delegate, coach, and influence Area managers across the Region.
  • Foster a customer/sales-focused environment by inspiring brand loyalty and cultivating a first-class experience.
  • Reviews and analyzes regional sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and to identify potential new markets.
  • Ability to provide fast and efficient communication to the field and align projects accordingly.
  • Ability to implement budgeting and Quarterly expectations that correlate with profitable expectations.
  • Analyze PI reports. Provide accurate reports to analyze PI overall results to provide support, guidance, and action plans.
  • Ability to travel to stores and assist with training and execution of store inventory procedures (Physical Inventories, Cycle Counts Transfers In/Out, Daily Counts, Analysis & Reconciliation Interact with our company finance team to address inventory related topics.
  • Serve as a liaison between field and corporate office partners to ensure clear communication, problem solving and partnership while maintaining an objective perspective. Interacting with relevant executive / corporate / department & field leaders to address any relevant issues.
  • Ability to teach software and hardware implementations that affect Inventory processes.
  • Ability to deliver Field needs by partnering with key departments such as IT, Finance , Merchandising and Regional Managers.
  • Ability to use StoreForce and to understand Business trends .
  • Ability to perform needed reporting on a weekly basis to the field by gathering relevant data.
  • Ability to implement effective processes that affect Store Operations including , Store Counts, Physical Inventories , Damages , Invincible Redeem , Gift with Purchase and accessories.
  • Ability to partner with Area or Regional Managers daily to fix in-store issues.
  • Bench, plan, and recruit to always ensure headcount and proper preparation.
  • Ensures employees adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by director.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years retail experience with minimum of 2 years of area or regional management.
  • Exceptional knowledge of retail operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise staff in different locations.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time, including other States, Areas or Corporate.
  • Overnight travel maybe required depending on the market.
