Salem Web Network, LLC is seeking a proactive, self-starter to serve as the Lead Generation Specialist for our direct sales team. This position will work closely with the VP Advertising Sales in identifying strategic prospects to discover and propose in order to grow direct advertising revenue ongoing. Position will also work alongside Advertising Operations, Traffic, Email, Accounting, and other stakeholders to identify, develop, and deploy a constantly evolving best business process for our direct advertising sales. The position also serves as Salesforce administrator and will be responsible for the execution of the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform. Position located onsite at our Richmond, VA office.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports our sales department by prospecting new leads through research, social media, and other digital platforms to disperse to the sales organization.
- Provides research on digital ad spend, creative examples, and budget when possible/where applicable.
- Creates new lead records in Salesforce, manages lead assignments, and tracks follow through to ensure new leads are contacted.
- Works with the sales team as requested to locate fresh contacts for existing organizations.
- Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment for the direct advertising team.
- Handle all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows...
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
- Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
- Work with VP Advertising Sales and various key business units to establish suitable processes to support growth
- Assist in training new users, and grow CRM skill set across our organization
- Effectively act as the liaison for anything and everything Salesforce
Skills Required:

Experience Required:
- Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
- Minimum one year of experience in sales prospecting/lead generation
- com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified preferred
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Strong understanding of the CRM platform, eval custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views and Salesforce best practices
- History of successfully driving projects to completion
