The Payment Rails Corporate and Investment Bank Sales Team is responsible for prospecting, pitching and closing B2B payables solutions for large corporate, financial institutions, healthcare and multi-national clients. This is performed in concert with key banking, Treasury Services, product, credit, implementations, service and operations partners.

J.P. Morgan is seeking talented, ambitious, and creative candidates for the role of Product Sales Specialist for Rails in our Corporate and Investment Bank sales team. Our group of professionals is composed of high performers from across the treasury and payments industry.

The Product Sales Specialist role requires a deep understanding of all Treasury Services products such as ACH, Disbursements, Wire, Real Time Payments, etc. The Payment Rail Product Sales Specialist must have an intricate knowledge of the payables landscape, a proven track record of leading complex client transactions and be capable driving significant revenues to the product P&L both through managing the traditional sales cycle and through profiling and targeting unsolicited client opportunities. The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a strong sales pipeline and managing deals from prospecting through to revenue recognition of closed deals to target. The Product Sales Specialist will partner with other Payment Rail Product Sales Specialist's on their deals.

This role is suited for an individual with a profound understanding of solutions across the payables and receivables spectrum, ranging from ACH, Wires, Checks, Real Time Payments, and Commercial card solutions. Candidates with deep technical expertise, comprehension of interactions between expense management systems, ERP's and Fintech operators will be viewed favorably.

Job Responsibilities
  • Meeting and exceeding assigned revenue goals
  • Leading cross-functional deal teams
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations with demonstrable ownership of all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Support pricing and proposal writing process as needed
  • National and global travel when permitted
  • Representing the bank at conferences, internal client and peer events
  • Driving product enhancements by relaying market information to product team
  • Supporting the cross-sell of other products to deliver a winning client solution
  • Delivering compelling oral and written presentations with associated technical skills in building sales decks and collateral
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of the strategic product roadmap through collaboration with clients, sales, segment teams, channel partners, and other product owners within the payables and receivables business
  • Attending client roundtables, strategy white-boarding, workshops, etc., as required
  • Contributing to marketing strategy and communications plans

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with, and technical knowledge of digital channels products including; internet, host-host, API and mobile channels
  • Strong payments industry knowledge: consultative background delivering complex solutions preferred
  • Demonstrable success leading client interactions
  • 5 years of experience in financial industry
  • Extensive product knowledge specific to Commercial Card gleaned from operations, sales, and/or product
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to understand complex technical details
  • Awareness of general financial services and Commercial Card specific regulatory framework
  • Deep understanding of payment card network and transaction processing
