Delden supplies North Americas Midwest region with garage doors, electric openers, parts and accessories through five door centers: Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Central Missouri, and Des Moines, IA.
About the role:
Residential Salesperson is responsible for following up on all sales leads for garage doors that come from jobs in single-family homes. The salesperson will contact the customer, schedule consultations, provide quotes and write up orders to be turned in for processing. Additionally, the salesperson is required to organize their calendar and previous quotes, while notating their work on provided platforms.

About the role:
Residential Salesperson is responsible for following up on all sales leads for garage doors that come from jobs in single-family homes. The salesperson will contact the customer, schedule consultations, provide quotes and write up orders to be turned in for processing. Additionally, the salesperson is required to organize their calendar and previous quotes, while notating their work on provided platforms.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Call all leads within 1-2 business days.
- Schedule consultations at the location of the job with the customer.
- This includes gathering the appropriate measurements and presenting options to the customer.
- Provide quotes onsite or by email within 1-2 business days.
- Write up orders from customers and turn them in for processing within 2-3 business days.
- For Direct Renner Leads: Provide necessary documentation on the Referral Log regarding each lead.
- For Costco Leads: Provide necessary documentation on the Costco system regarding each lead.
- Gather all necessary paperwork required by Costco, process payment and turn order in for Renner processing.
- Be available for potential calls, texts or emails from the office staff asking questions that have come in from customers.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite and ability to utilize provided technology sales tools and visualization software.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to take constructive criticism.
- Ability to self-evaluate and correct.
- Ability to "think on your feet."
- Ability to adapt to multiple personalities.
- Utilize math and minimum level formulas.
- Absorb criticism from customers with care and a calm temperament.
