This is your opportunity to join Ayres Hotels, as growth has brought a new addition to the collection, in the Inland Empire. With opening near, Ayres Hotel Rialto is seeking a dynamic and professional Sales Manager.
In this role, you will guide the hotel to success prior to their grand opening by developing new accounts. You will be expected to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction, and meeting and exceeding forecasted and budgeted revenue goals following the grand opening this spring.
We are looking for a highly motivated and determined individual who is ready to take on this challenge.
About Ayres Hotel Rialto:
The Ayres Hotel Rialto will offer 135 spacious rooms, an on-site bar, as well as a beautiful courtyard, outdoor pool, fitness center and meeting spaces. Guests can expect the same authentic style and personalized service in Vista that you have come to expect from all Ayres Hotels.
Our goal is to positively impact the community by creating jobs and operating the hotel with the help of many local businesses as our suppliers, vendors, and partners. The construction alone is expected to provide hundreds of jobs for local community followed by an anticipated 40 hospitality jobs once the hotel opens.

$68,000 – 70,000 annually
*This position is eligible to participate in the sales quarterly incentive program.
POSITION PURPOSE:
The primary duties of the Sales Manager are to lead the hotel sales effort, to achieve company goals and to ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to Company Core Values and Mission Statement.
- Primary duties include outside sales related responsibilities, i.e. prospecting for new accounts and maintaining current accounts at their place of business, conducting hotel site inspections with clients, and prospecting for new and maintaining current clients over lunch.
- Responsible for the overall sales effort to achieve current year financial goals and set plans for future years.
- Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers to include sales calls, trade shows, chamber functions, etc.
- Use negotiating, communication skills and creative sales ability to close on business sales opportunities.
- Know the competitive hotel sets in the area as well as their Sales Managers.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRMENTS:
- 2 years of B2B Sales Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
