  • Achieve annual retention targets, business growth targets and customer loyalty goals.
  • Executes the Equitable account management and service value story. Understands and clearly explains the value of Equitable, our business partnerships and the strength of our products.
  • Partners and collaborates with Market Sales Executive (MSE) to ensure a mutual understanding of territory goals and objectives. Develops plans of action (through use of business plan) to act on those goals and objectives.

The base salary range for this position is $59,000-$86,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Prior expertise in the insurance industry (sales, underwriting, operations). Understanding of employee benefits (life, dental, disability) and RFP process is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills, also able to speak in front of groups.
• Must be self motivated, work both independently and as a team, and have strong desire to exceed goals.
• Life and Health License will be required within a specified timeframe
• Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Salesforce, Adobe)

Client Relationship Management: Knowledge of client relationship; ability to address issues critical issues to meet client needs and maintain engaged, partnering relationship with business partners and clients.


Effective Presentations: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to present information to groups with the appropriate degree of formality.



Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.



Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
