Job Overview:
Spirent is looking for an exceptional sales professional to drive solution sales across our portfolio of products. You will be responsible for global sales into named Chipset accounts including Intel, Nvidia, Marvell, AMD, and NXP. You will work as part of a team driving business through Spirent's direct selling and channel organizations. This opportunity will involve working with some of the most exciting technology in the market including artificial intelligence, AR/VR, autonomous vehicles, 5G networks, cloud computing, and high-speed networks. This is a highly visible role with growth potential and the ability to influence and drive our solutions portfolio for one of our most strategic target segments. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage global accounts including developing a strategy for growth and execution steps to achieve.
- Navigate complex sales processes and drive solution sales across our portfolio.
- Identify and develop sales leads.
- Understand complex customer requirements on a business level to engage and educate, while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the contract engagement.
- Collaborate with our Marketing Team, Channel Sales Team, and Product Development Team to generate sales opportunities.
- Create a plan identifying key goals and strategies to drive business and exceed quotas.
- Use consultative, solution-selling, and business development skills at the executive level to align customers' business requirements with Spirent's solutions.
- Work cross-functionally across the organization to leverage subject matter expertise and other stakeholders help to drive opportunities to close.
- Develop new customer and ecosystem relationships to expand Spirent's market share.
- Understand the competitive landscape and market trends. Effectively present all Spirent solutions and maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge.
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities on a monthly and quarterly cadence.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the technology industry, test & measurement space preferred.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota.
- Great understanding of the lead generation and pipeline-building activities.
- Comfortable being an active participant in highly technical discussions and able to collaboratively work with internal personnel to ensure that customer objectives are achieved.
- Previous experience selling hardware and/or software is preferred.
- Excellent listening, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
- Self-motivated and willing to accept challenges.
- Strong interest in problem-solving and driving innovative solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel (approximately 25%).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
