Inside Sales/Marketing Representative

Position Overview:

Develops new prospects, interact with existing customers, and facilitates customer quotation and order requests. Plays a fundamental role in developing and maintaining customer relationships and reaching revenue growth objectives. Maintains and promotes marketing strategy.

Position Reports To:

Inside Sales Manager

Specific Duties:

• Act as primary internal contact for customers in assigned region.
• Work directly with Inside Sales Manager/Outside Sales Managers/other sales affiliates to develop, build and manage customer relationships.
• Work directly with third party marketing contacts and other company marketing affiliates.
• Maintain Customer Relationship Management software (CRM).
• Create, manage and present quotations to customers-including necessary research for correct product specification, item costing and manufacturing lead times.
• Assists Inside Sales Operation Specialist in the expedition of quotes/orders through internal process.
• Quotation Follow up-capture sale.
• Collects and compiles customer feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company management and leadership.
• Provide customers with requested technical information related to machine specifications.
• Interact with Research, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Shipping Departments to provide written or oral communication for all customer requested information.
• Resolve customer issues/ complaints.
• Perform customer surveys and report results.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Assists in maintaining company website/eCommerce websites, ie LinkedIn, Grow Bots.
• Work with third-party administrators and company affiliates with marketing campaigns.
• Attend provided sales and marketing training as required.
• Participate in other sales/marketing functions as requested by Inside Sales Manager.

Critical Job Skills/Competency Expectations:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• One year experience or training in a manufacturing environment in a sales or marketing capacity is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and listening skills.
• Must be able to function as a team/group member.
• Exceptional data entry/computer skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
• This position may require limited travel to potential and existing customers to promote products and services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
